DANBURY, Conn., March 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FuelCell Energy, Inc. (FCEL), a global leader in delivering clean, innovative and affordable fuel cell solutions for the supply, recovery and storage of energy, today announced that it was awarded $3.1 million from the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) division of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for its project proposal to advance the commercialization of ultra-high efficiency Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) systems.
